An independent theatre in Alserkal Avenue, Dubai, built so the city's own actors, comedians, musicians, poets and writers have a stage to call home.
OUR STORY.
Actors, comedians, poets, dancers, musicians, writers, directors. Dubai's performing scene grew bigger and bigger and it needed a space of its own.
In 2015 a group of local theatre makers built one. The Junction opened its doors in Alserkal Avenue as a place where local and regional talent could take risks, try new work, collaborate and build bigger audiences for the arts.
Dubai welcomes West End tours and Broadway talent. We exist so the people who live here can be seen too.

The Junction opens in Alserkal Avenue with The Vortex.
A new house
A full summer renovation of the auditorium and new sits.
X Fest is born

The Junction Academy opens in Silicon Oasis, it's first site beyond Alserkal.
